What sad news. Where The Wild Things Are is a great book. Just last week I was watching the movie they made for the book.
Ah, sweet. Nice to remember Maurice. He has certainly given us imaginative and fun books for us to read. :)
My kiddo and I just got another of his books at the library~ it's called Chicken Soup with Rice (it's a month-of-the-year picture book). He really left a legacy behind.
Hi! My mission...which I chose to accept...was to continue to visit as many A to Z Challenge participants as I could even after the challenge is over because I didn't want to miss out on any great bloggers out there! Lovely blog...good luck with the rest of the year and I hope you had a wonderful weekend!Donna L Martinwww.donasdays.blogspot.com
Nice, Kimberly. I wonder if he knew at the beginning of his career what an influence he would be forever afterward.
His books were those that are I think most kids remember. They are a part of childhood.
