A to Z Challenge - X (Holy Crapoli)

This year my theme for the A to Z Challenge is an Alliteration Challenge.

I'm also challenging any commenters to the Alliteration Challenge AND it will also be a contest! At the end of the month, I'll select a couple of winners that will receive a $25.00 E-Gift Card for Amazon.com. I'll be looking for the longest alliteration that makes sense and is clever and/or humorous and one for a letter that is tough to pull off an alliteration (or if no one is able to write one, I'll just pick one that I love).

Here is my alliteration for the dreaded letter - X

XCI Xavier x-rayed XCV Xenia's xanthogenic xanthoderma.

How is that for X!  Now who can tell me what the heck it says in layman terms. :)

  1. Crapoli is right. This is what I scratched out.

    XO, Xanadu, x-rayed xenophiles.

    1. I'm going to say the your XCI is Roman numeral for 91, and XCV is Roman numeral for 95. So, 91 year-old, Xavier, x-rayed a patch of yellow skin on 95 year-old, Xenia.

  2. Good one, Kimberly! Here's mine:

Xander Xeroxed Xavian's xeric xenophobic Xmas xylographs.

"xeric" means "dry"; xenophobia is a fear of strangers; and a xylograph is an inscription in wood. Yeah, who would photocopy dry wood inscriptions bearing xenophobic Christmas messages? Someone trying to alliterate with the letter X, perhaps?!
