I've joined Rachael Harrie's Third Writers' Platform-Building Campaign. It sounds like an awesome way to hook up with other writer's and learn a lot which I'm looking forward too.
The sign-up for this ends on August 31st, so if you think you might be interested - go check out Rachael's blog here, right away!
Oh, to get DIRECTLY to the instructions page for joining, go here.
Hope to see you!

Kudos to Cathie and a Million Thanks!
Well, my awesome blogger friend and critique partner, Cathie over at The Writing Room was able to help me solve my problem with not being able to comment on some blogs. THANK YOU, CATHIE!!
The problem I was having is that I would sign in to my blog, and then as soon as I posted anything, or went to another blog to try and post something, it said I WASN'T signed in, which was driving me nuts and I didn't know why. Then when I tried to post a comment on blogs where the comments didn't pop up in a separate browser window, I couldn't. It would tell me I wasn't allowed access or something like that and it would make me sign in again and then throw me into a loop. It was so exasperating.
Cathie sent me an email with some browser settings she had found and said once she had set them, she didn't have the problem anymore. So I tried it, and wha-la - it worked for me too!
Now Jeff over at Authors' Union and Susanne over at Putting Words Down on Paper also had told me about unchecking that option to stay signed into blogger - but I'd already fixed mine by then so I didn't have a chance to try that - so thanks Jeff and Susan because it might help someone else!
If you aren't following Cathie, Jeff, and Susanne's fantastic blogs - I highly recommend it!

Back in the Mode of Writing
Well, my computer did not last until the end of August like I had hoped. It crashed a few weeks ago and I couldn't do anything which was terrible. But I did get a new one and have been trying to get everything reloaded and figuring out how Windows 2007 works and all that good stuff.
I am especially grateful to my husband for being able to get all my files and documents and my pst file for Outlook! He is so amazingly awesome. I just finished getting all those files onto my computer tonight.
So, now I am back into the swing of writing. I have sent a few queries for my latest novel and received a few requests. I am hopeful but we all know how this process goes so I'm trying not to get my hopes too high. :)
Okay, so now I'm going to go and start checking in with all my blogger friends to see what I've been missing! UPDATE: Well, I can't seem to comment on anyone's blog that does not have the comments pop up in a new window - I can't even comment as anonymous some of the time. I just wanted everyone to know that I'm not ignoring anyone, I'd love to comment but there appears to be some major blogger issue! :(
